Located at 11618 N. Newberry Drive, the new dispensary is a relocation of Speakeasy's former Pine Bluff location.
Speakeasy Dispensary Is Now Open in Ward
Speakeasy's new Ward dispensary officially opened at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 20. They are now open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
The dispensary offers a variety of medical marijuana products, including:
Patients can speak with Speakeasy's budtenders for help understanding the available products and choosing options that fit their needs.
The new location gives patients in Ward and nearby Central Arkansas communities a convenient option for purchasing their medicine. For patients who previously had to travel farther to visit a dispensary, having a location closer to home can make regular access more manageable.
What Do You Need to Visit an Arkansas Dispensary?
Before visiting Speakeasy's new Ward location or another Arkansas dispensary, make sure your Arkansas medical marijuana card is active. If you don't have a card yet, you can schedule an evaluation with an Arkansas marijuana doctor to determine if you qualify and receive help with the state application process. You need to bring a copy of your card, digitally or printed, and a valid government-issued ID when making a purchase.
Registered Arkansas medical marijuana patients can visit licensed dispensaries throughout the state. Patients can purchase up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana every 14 days, with purchases tracked through the state's medical marijuana system.
If you are planning your first visit to a dispensary, checking the dispensary's menu ahead of time can also be helpful. Menus can give you an idea of what products are currently available. You can also give the dispensary a call to ask about available products or any other questions you may have before your visit.
Don't Have an Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card?
If you are interested in visiting dispensaries like Speakeasy but do not have an Arkansas medical marijuana card yet, you will first need to complete the state's patient certification and registration process.
An Arkansas marijuana doctor can evaluate your medical history and determine whether medical marijuana may be appropriate for you. If you are approved, you can complete the necessary state registration steps and begin purchasing from licensed Arkansas dispensaries once your card is active.
Keep Your Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card Active
Having a medical marijuana card is only helpful if it remains active. Arkansas medical marijuana cards are generally valid for up to one year, although a physician can specify an earlier expiration date. Patients can log into their Arkansas Medical Marijuana Registry account to access their card information and should keep track of their expiration date so they can begin the renewal process on time. Arkansas allows patients to renew up to 60 days before their card expires.
Our team at Arkansas Marijuana Card specializes in medical marijuana card renewals, and we offer appointments through telemedicine. This allows existing patients to meet with an Arkansas marijuana doctor remotely without having to travel to an office.
During the appointment, the marijuana doctor reviews your medical history and current condition to determine whether you still qualify for the Arkansas medical marijuana program. If approved for renewal, our team helps you complete the state renewal process and submit the necessary information.
After your renewal is submitted, the Arkansas Department of Health reviews the application. Once the state approves your renewal, you can access your renewed medical marijuana card through the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Registry. State processing times can vary, so it is best to begin your renewal before your current card expires.
We also send renewal reminders to help patients keep track of when their card is approaching expiration. Renewing through telemedicine is a convenient option for patients who already have an Arkansas medical marijuana card and want to maintain uninterrupted access to dispensaries.

The move from Pine Bluff to Ward makes so much sense for Central Arkansas patients—great to see the doors officially open on August 20. I’m sure the Newberry Drive location will be a lot more convenient for many people. By the way, I keep a supplier of construction wire, tie wire, rebar supports, anchor bolts and temporary fencing for importers and distributors I like to share: https://www.leeter.cn/products/wire-tie-products/
