Cannabis flower buds that have gone through the cryocure process can be almost twice as large as traditional cannabis flower, making buds not only more attractive visually, but also provide better relief to patients. Furthermore, trichomes are also more abundant with cryocure cannabis, and since the terpenes are better preserved, the flavor and aroma is known to be better as well.
When cannabis is properly cryocured, it offers a much more preserved product than traditional curing can offer, and it cuts weeks off the production timeline.
Cryocuring isn’t perfect, though, and you wouldn’t be able to effectively freeze dry cannabis without a Cryocure machine. Cannabis that isn’t cryocured properly will be hard, brittle, dry, flavorless, and unappealing visually. That’s because the cryocure machines that are used to properly cure cannabis using the freezing technique uses specific temperatures and pressurization to preserve terpenes and cannabinoids.

These staple strains should be an easy buy for patients familiar with them because their cryocured variants should be bigger, fluffier, and more potent. Though, make sure that’s the case before purchasing, because cannabis that hasn’t been cryocured properly will look exactly the opposite, drier, thinner, smaller, and less flavorful and potent.
Why Cryocure Cannabis is a Big Deal for Arkansas Medical Marijuana Patients
Cryocure cannabis, when executed properly, looks and tastes incredible. Cutting back processing times for cultivators is certainly an extra bonus too, since it can help get products on dispensary shelves quicker.
But one of the biggest benefits of upgrading Arkansas’ cultivator technology is with products that could come shortly thereafter, namely, live resin.
We’ve seen live resin in the state sparingly, with River Valley Relief’s live resin run, though consistent live resin has been extremely hard to come by in Arkansas. A heavier focus on frozen cannabis could lean NSM heavier into concentrates, where their main products have been vape cartridges.

Executing AAA grade concentrates is a big challenge to take on, and considering the low-level products that have been passed around the Natural State, it would be a huge achievement for many cultivators.
But with the focus on higher quality products we’re seeing from cultivators like NSM, RVR, and Delta, better hash products might not be too far from the future for Arkansas medical marijuana patients.
