Is Cookies Cannabis Good Quality in Arkansas?

Arkansas medical marijuana patients have a lot to look forward to this month, with a new store opening from one of the world’s biggest cannabis brands in the Natural State.

With the opening of Berner’s by Good Day Farm, Cookies cannabis products have finally arrived in Arkansas and for the first time in the South.

Patients with an Arkansas medical marijuana card can officially shop the range of Cookies strains like London Pound Cake, Gary Payton, and Collins Avenue, now available in multiple dispensaries in the Natural State.

In this article, we’ll talk about the quality of Cookies cannabis in Arkansas and whether or not the brand lives up to its nationwide hype.

Arkansas Opens First Cookies Store in the South

Berner’s By Good Day Farm Roles Out Cookies Inventory

The collaboration between Good Day Farm and Cookies marks an important relationship for marijuana in the South, where designer brands and AAA grade flower are harder to find than other areas in the Country.

Medical marijuana is still a relatively new phenomena in the South, with only a handful of States recently adopting medical cannabis programs.

Good Day Farm has placed itself at the forefront of this new wave of legal cannabis, operating with massive positions in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Missouri.

The relocation (and transformation) of their Little Rock location into Berner’s by Good Day Farm has created a new atmosphere for the brand, showing off a brighter and trendier atmosphere with merch, edibles, concentrates, and of course, Cookies flower on full display in the store.

Cookies Strains Now Available at Arkansas Dispensaries

For the last week or so, if you wanted to snag a bag of Cookies cannabis in Arkansas, you’d have needed to stop by the new Little Rock location on Chenal Pkwy.

They’ve had the exclusive inventory of Cookies cannabis products for the first week, with other dispensaries getting inventory just now.

There are a variety of strains available, too, such as:

Apples & Bananas

Cereal Milk

Collins Avenue

Georgia Pie

Helium

Jealousy

Laughing Gas

Lemmonade (Medellin)

London Pound Cake

Ooh La La (Run The Jewels)

Pink Rozay

The Soap (Minntz)

There are even boxes displayed that will soon house a Cookies line of concentrates, which will hopefully include more live resins or rosin, though vape cartridges will probably be a main target.

Cookies Cannabis Strains Tested in Arkansas

Cookies Offers Hybrid Strains With Prominent Effects

We ended up with a few different strains to test from the Cookies lineup, all bought a few days after the grand opening. The THC ranged between 18% - 25% THC on the strains we tested, and there’s a noticeable difference among them.

The first thing you’ll notice about Cookies strains is that they don’t come in jars like the rest of the brands in Arkansas, but they come in Mylar bags with trendy colors and bright artwork.

Most people consider this a downside because you can’t really see the bud in the bags very well, and many people prefer to see their cannabis thoroughly before purchasing their buds.

And while there are buds on display, the buds in your Mylar bag may or may not look like that.

The second thing that is immediately noticeable is the smell. Once you open the bag, a pungent aroma of strong cannabis wafts you in the face, and it’s pleasant.

Cookies Cannabis – The Taste, Effects, & Buds

The buds themselves are tricky and encouraging at best.

While they are dense with strong colors and covered in trichomes, they’re small.

Like, noticeably small.

Compared to many other strains grown in Arkansas, these are baby buds, with 8 – 10 smaller buds as opposed to 1 – 3 large buds in an 1/8th, akin to other brands “small buds” options.

This is a personal preference in many cases, and some patients may even choose to go for smaller buds because they’re easier to grind in joints, though these are considerably small.

We also purchased some of the “small buds” Cookies packages, which were microscopic compared to the buds in the regular packages which were already sporting “popcorn” size nugs.

You could nearly sprinkle these directly into a joint and roll them, with minimal stems and almost no breaking up required.

The effects, though, are unquestionably good. You get a real sense of the genetics with these strains, and their hybridization gives way to a unique sense of each indica-dominant or sativa-dominant variant.

You can really feel the individual effects from both sides of the equation, and they come together to form a fantastic experience. The higher THC percentages were also very tolerable, offering pleasant experiences without a lot of the edginess that can come from something like a pure sativa.

All in all, if the buds were just a little bit bigger, we’d give Cookies cannabis a 10/10 in Arkansas, though we have to knock off at least a point for the annoying bags and the small bud sizes.

Cookies cannabis is definitely worth a try in Arkansas, and each strain has unique effects that we hope you’ll enjoy as much as we have.
