Going Green for St. Paddy’s Day

Updated: Oct 12, 2021

Go Green

Here at Arkansas Marijuana Card, our Irish eyes are always smilin’, because helping our patients feel their best is what we are all about.

We know everyone enjoys some good, old fashioned Irish revelry for St. Paddy’s day, but 2021 is going to be a bit different for us all. Many of the traditional festivities are cancelled, but the changes being made this year due to COVID will give us all an opportunity to do something new.

When you try something you’ve been wanting to do, or go for an activity that’s completely out of the ordinary, it could help lift your spirits just as well as the World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Hot Springs has in the previous years.

You may just find yourself a new tradition you want to keep for years to come.

Medical marijuana is legal in Arkansas, and you can now enjoy the luck o’ the Irish with some green of your own. Cannabis buds may not have four leaves like a clover, but feeling your best is certainly something to celebrate!

We’ve all heard the saying, “Everyone is Irish on Saint Patrick’s Day!” and at Arkansas Marijuana Card, we couldn’t agree more!

To kick off the day, We are offering new patients $30 off of your Arkansas medical marijuana evaluation, for St. Paddy’s Day only. Visit our site on March 17th, 2021, enter LUCKY30 when you make your appointment, and save some green getting authorized to get your green.

With so many new ways to go green, St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t just mean wearing that one lime-colored shirt in your closet and drinking beer with added food coloring anymore.

Here are our top ten suggestions for ways to make the most of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities this year and every year on March 17th.

1. Get Your Arkansas Marijuana Card

Since helping you get your Arkansas marijuana card is what we do best, it seems like this would be a reasonable first suggestion for ways to celebrate the green in style this year. If you don’t yet have one, what are you waiting for? Having an Arkansas marijuana card may be one of the best things you can do for yourself this year.

The list of qualifying conditions is long, our doctors are understanding, and we are here for you every step of the way!

When you call us at (844) 249-8714 or schedule a same-day HIPPA-certified telehealth appointment with one of our doctors, you immediately have someone by your side who can help you navigate your way to legal medical marijuana.

Our staff and doctors work together to answer all your questions, help you understand the process and available products, and offer as many follow-ups as you may need in a year. We can even help you get your medical records if you are having trouble.

We aren’t saying we deserve sainthood, but we can certainly help you find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (pun intended).

2. Visit an Arkansas Cannabis Dispensary!

Once you have your Arkansas marijuana card, you are free to check out and make purchases from any Arkansas dispensary you want!

Dispensaries like Harvest House of Cannabis in Little Rock and Purspirit Cannabis Company in Fayettevile are selling a robust selection of products.

Visit a local dispensary to stock up on some amazing green, including dozens of flower strains like Lavender Diesel, Confucius Kush, and Purple Ice; Mango Kush and Durban Poison Cartridges, and gummies and chocolates to round out your green snacking experience.

3. Start Your Day … and End Your Day … With a Feel-Good Boost

We promise that we are going to talk about things that are not directly related to medical marijuana, but first we have to share our excitement! Who wouldn’t want to go on and on about their favorite kind of green when it makes you feel your best!

Why not spend a day this weekend celebrating St. Paddy’s day by savoring the moment of living pain and anxiety-free? Start your day with one of your favorite sativa strains, keep it going in the afternoon with a sweet gummy snack, and finish off with a mellow indica before bed.

4. Check Out Online Events

Always wanted to travel to London, Dublin, or NYC to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in style? Well now you can … virtually! Celebrations all over the world are changing to adjust to COVID restrictions, making sure we all stay safe and increasing the chance that we can all be back in person to party next year. In the meantime, check out some of the opportunities to share in the festivities from the comfort of your home no matter where you are.

5. Go For a Run

If you’ve got the springtime jitters and you’re feeling great from your medical marijuana regimen, you may feel like it’s time to get moving.

Most of the organized runs specifically for St. Patrick’s Day already took place over the weekend before, but that doesn’t mean that this is not a great time to get yourself in shape for the coming season in the sun! We know all you buff dudes out there are already working on your swimsuit bod!

There are running clubs all over Arkansas, and you can even start your own with a few friends.

6. Suck Down a Shamrock Shake!

Seasonal treats are an excellent way to celebrate any day on the calendar? Who doesn’t love chasing down the elusive McRib or hitting the drive through for a Shamrock Shake? Since its beginnings in 1970, this popular annual McDonald’s treat has had us waiting for March to come so we can indulge. What flavor is it? No one really knows. But who ever said delicious needed to be named anyway?

7. Get Your Plants Ready for Spring

Your houseplants are probably ready for some fresh air, and it’s certainly time to start preparing for your summer garden. Get some seedlings going if you haven’t already, and look forward to the bounty that’s to come later this summer.

8. Do Something Good for the Environment

Check out this list for some simple ways to go green for 2021. Small changes can lead to a big impact, and it’s never too late to get started. Start recycling, cut back on the packaging you use and buy, consider solar panels or buying an electric car if you’re in the market, or find other ways to reduce your carbon footprint.

9. Go Hunting for 4-Leaf Clovers

According to an article in Smithsonian Magazine, 4-leaf clovers are actually pretty common. With the right strategy, you should be able to find a 4-leaf clover in every 1.2 meter patch of clover grass. Hunting for lucky clovers is probably way safer and easier than hunting for leprechauns!

10. Okay … Go Ahead and Drink That Green Beer

Look. We get it. Sometimes you just want to feel like things are normal again. Maybe you need those traditions in your life to truly feel Irish. And since it’s probably not a good idea to go around collecting kisses this year, green beer is all you’ve got. So, bottom’s up, and happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us at Arkansas Marijuana Card.
