The Source Dispensary in Bentonville is Now Open!

The Source medical marijuana dispensary is the eighth dispensary to open in Arkansas and the second to open in Bentonville. They opened their doors on Thursday, August 15. They did not have as long of a line as the other dispensaries on their grand opening, but this was likely caused by another dispensary opening in Bentonville the week prior as well as a lack of online presence prior to their opening. It wasn’t until August 19 that they added their menu to Weedmaps. 

 

The Source is active on their Facebook page, regularly updating their wait time, allowing patients to know what to expect when they arrive. Plus, they sometimes have a food truck outside for patients to enjoy some food while they wait. Their website allows you to sign up for emails, but does not tell you about their dispensary.    

 

What Marijuana Products Are Available at The Source Dispensary in Bentonville?

The Source carries all of the varieties of medical cannabis that you would expect from a dispensary. You will find:

1. Cannabis flower: Raw cannabis flower is the dried and cured female flower of the cannabis plant. This is what most people envision when they think of marijuana. It is usually smoked or it can be vaped with flower vaporizers. The effects are fast and short-lived, and it is easy to start small and increase your dose until you find what’s best for you.

Be cautious until you know how much you need as it is easy to accidentally consume too much when you’re becoming familiar with edibles.

4. Tinctures: Tinctures are a concentrated cannabis product that you put under your tongue and then swallow. They take effect faster than edibles but more slowly than flower or vape products. Because you ingest tinctures, they last a long time, similarly to edibles.
